1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your membership of and participation in the Ampthill vs Cancer Loyalty Club ("the Club", "we", "us", "our") and your use of our website club.ampthillvscancer.co.uk, any associated mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Platform").
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of your agreement with us.
2. Who we are

3. Definitions
- "Member" means an individual who has registered for a Club account.
- "Benefits" means the offers, discounts, benefits, or items that may be redeemed using Points.
- "Retailer" means a business, venue, or partner that takes part in the programme.
- "Account" means your personal Club membership account.
4. Eligibility and membership
To become a Member, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be resident in the United Kingdom.
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Hold only one Account per person, unless we agree otherwise.
Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred, sold, or shared. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel membership at our discretion where these Terms are breached.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details and password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your Account. You must notify us promptly at hello@ampthillvscancer.co.uk if you believe your Account has been accessed without your permission.
You agree to keep your registration details accurate and up to date. We are not responsible for any loss arising from your failure to do so.
7. Membership and Benefits
Membership is determined by either an annual subscription or by Virtual Goodie bag from an Ampthill vs Cancer event. Memberships are non-transferrable. Benefits may be changed or removed without notice.
7. Participating Businesses
Rewards and offers may be provided by Participating Businesses. While we take care in selecting our partners, Participating Businesses are independent and responsible for their own goods, services, and offers. Any contract for goods or services is between you and the Participating Business. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of any Participating Business, except where the law does not allow us to exclude such liability.
8. Fundraising and charitable purpose
The Club is associated with raising funds and awareness in support of cancer-related causes. Where participation contributes to fundraising, we will be transparent about how this works. Details of the causes supported and how contributions are applied will be made available on the Platform. We do not guarantee any specific level of funds raised or any particular outcome.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to manipulate, game, or abuse the Points or Rewards system.
- Create multiple or fake Accounts, or impersonate another person.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, or any content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
- Use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) without our written permission.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected misuse and to suspend or terminate Accounts involved.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your membership, remove Points, or restrict access to the Platform if:
- You breach these Terms.
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
- We are required to do so by law.
You may close your Account at any time by contacting us at hello@ampthillvscancer.co.uk or through your account settings. On termination, any unredeemed Points will be forfeited unless we say otherwise.
We may also discontinue the Club or the Platform as a whole, giving you reasonable notice where practicable. If we close the programme, we will tell you how any outstanding Points or Rewards will be handled.
11. Changes to the programme and these Terms
We may update the programme, the Rewards available, and these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including the Club name, logos, designs, text, and software, is owned by or licensed to Alchemy Code Labs Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Platform only as permitted by these Terms. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
13. Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the Platform for operational, maintenance, or other reasons.
14. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above:
- We provide the Platform and the loyalty programme on an "as is" basis and make no warranties about Rewards, Points, or offers beyond those required by law.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- We are not liable for losses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.
If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to system failures, supplier failures, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
16. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy(https://club.ampthillvscancer.co.uk/privacy/), which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please review it carefully.
17. Third-party links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.
18. General
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. You may not transfer yours without our consent.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Club.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
